Good old Resmed
I just bought 3 softgel cushions on ebay for US32 each from a US seller. Freight cost me $30. If I bought it here in Australia they would charge me $100 each. As I opened the package it was ironic to see made in Australia on the packaging. I wont mention the seller, there are any number of them. Resmed should hang their head in shame at the way they treat Australians.

Re: Good old Resmed
Well my machine is only 6 months old so hopefully it will be a while before I need to buy another. When the time comes I may be seeking some advice on which one to buy...other than ResMed.

In theory we do.kempo wrote:I thought people in OZZ had "free" healthcare.
We have a "Medicare" system for which there is an extra tax paid by taxpayers.
The GP are generally free. Specialists always charge more than the Medicare benefit.
Public hospital is free. There is usually a long wait for anything elective.
Most people also pay for a private cover so they can go to a private hospital and get elective surgery done when they want it. This will cost around $300 a month. The private cover does not include CPAP or supplies.

That's the future of the USA, free for everybody, unless you do need something. Jim Just remember to turn in your Guns, so you won't have a say in what happens in your own lives.ozze_dollar wrote:In theory we do.kempo wrote:I thought people in OZZ had "free" healthcare.

Not many guns in Australia. Only the criminals and police have guns.Goofproof wrote:That's the future of the USA, free for everybody, unless you do need something. That's my point if the population doesn't have guns, the criminals and police will and sometimes the police are the criminals too. Jimozze_dollar wrote:Not many guns in Australia. The reason you don't have guns are you were talking into being unable to change your own future forever. That's what all dictators want for their subjects.

Ditto. I hate John Howard with a passion, but the best thing he did as Prime Minister was tighten the gun laws after Martin Bryant killed 35 people because he had easy access to firearms.lullaby wrote:I'm glad i live in a country where they are banned.
