S9 auto, water condensing and pooling on heating element

Humidifier set on 4, machine temp set on 80 like always, temps here in Ohio have gotten colder. Bedroom is prob about 58 degrees at night. Water is now condensing on lid and dropping down sides onto heating element. Do I need to care? Will it hurt it in any way? Is there an easy fix?

I'm just guessing but the heating pad should evaporate the water. It's caused by the difference between the room temp and the tank temp, and you probably don't want to change either one... but 58 deg!? I bet there is an electric blanket on that bed!!! I was tickled to turn my thermostat down to 65 at night!

That sounds like you have an air leak somewhere in the humidifier. Room air shouldn't condense on the humidifier. The humidifier should be warmer than the room air.
