Ugh. I write this yesterday, and what happens at 3:06 this morning? Over the course of six minutes, six logged events, the accompanying flotilla of pulses, and waking up a bit after the last event while shutting off the machine and pulling off my mask. Still, I was able to put everything back on after I spent five minutes mopping out the pillows and vent.tetragon wrote:Not right now. Re: Is this all there is?
If the pillows have water in them, but the hoses don't, chances are the condensation is being caused by the moisture in the air that you are exhaling into the pillows. The exhaled air is very warm (body temperature) and very moist; when it hits the relatively cold pillows, the water vapor condenses. About the only thing you can really do here is to put a cozy on the pillows and maybe turn the humidifier down a notch so that there's less moisture in the air you breath in, which may,in turn reduce the moisture in the air you exhale.tetragon wrote:Ugh. To turn on the pie charts you need to do the following:napstress wrote:Sorry I can't help you with your concern, tetragon.
I noticed that tetragon has a pie chart in his SH report. I would like a pie chart. Is that from an earlier version or later version of SH? Mine is v0.8.6. Or does one just click on something to make it appear?
In SH, go to Preferences (it's under the File menu)
Once the Preferences panel pops up, select the General tab.
Once you are in the General tab, make sure that the box labeled Enable Graph Snapshots is CHECKED
Click OK and restart SH. Once you restart SH, the pie charts should show up.
NOTE: JediMark has said this feature is unstable on older computers. It's also unstable on computers with nonstandard video cards. For example, on my Eee PC, turning this feature on creates a bunch of problems that don't happen when it's off. On my mac, on the other hand, there seems to be no problem with turning this feature on.

Re: Is this all there is?
I'm hoping to have cozies for the pillows and short hose by the end of the year. They were ordered a month ago, but are making a side-trip to my parents instead of being delivered directly to me.robysue wrote: About the only thing you can really do here is to put a cozy on the pillows and maybe turn the humidifier down a notch so that there's less moisture in the air you breath in, which may,in turn reduce the moisture in the air you exhale.

I just asked this same question of Jedimark and followed his same instructions but no pie chart! I have latest version installed, didn't work on old version either. My computer is 7-8 yrs old so I guess it doesn't support the pie chart graphic,it just has a ?(question mark) where the pie chart would be. Everything else works perfectly. I was hoping Santa would bring me a new computer but I decided not to write a letter this year!

Re: Is this all there is?
New to the forum, but not new to CPAP. Hang in there. Try different masks until you find one you can tolerate. I use Breeze headgear with nasal pillows. It works for me, and CPAP has changed my life.
I have an answer for questions above re change of Cflex settings. On a PR System One machine, hold down ramp button and main button together for a several seconds, and that will take you to the "locked" menu where you can change from Aflex (if an auto machine) to Cflex to Cflex+ to None). It is as easy as that.
Now, in this area, I have a question. I had a PR System One auto machine for about a year that finally was set to C-flex 3. Seemed comfortable and all readings were very good. The machine died. I have a new PR System One auto machine which the DME guy set to C-flex+ 3. my AHI is still consistently low (below 2.0) but my VS index has gone way up. Anyone familiar with C-flex+ versus C-Flex? Is it possible, or likely, that C-flex+ is just so accommodating that throat muscles, etc., are too relaxed? If so, should I try going back to C-flex or instead slightly increase the pressure from 9.0 (where it has been for years) to maybe 9.5?

Re: Is this all there is?
Correction re changing settings on PR System One. To change from aflex to cflex, etc., you need to turn the main knob and go to setup. The hold down the main know and the ramp button for a few seconds, and it will take you to the other setup menu you want.
