ReScan software for the S8

I have the ReScan software for the S9 (as that was my rental machine) but I have since bought a S8. Is the software the same for the S9 as for the S8? If not, where can I get the S8 software?

Resscan is the same, but you need a special, hard to find card reader to read the card.

What do you mean? You can't just put it in your SD slot?

The ResMed S8 uses what is called a smart card. This..https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... -card.html

It won't fit in a SD slot on your computer. It is too large.

You then need the card reader to attach to the computer and insert the smart card into card reader.

Why did you buy the S8 machine? It is old technology and has been discontinued which makes it extremely hard to find the Smart Card and card reader.
