ONKOR Reading Resprionics SD Card

Post by AL92780 » Thu Dec 01, 2011 5:08 pm

MACHINE IS A REMSTAR AUTO A FLEX

Is data on card corrupted when when imported to ONKOR? (DME SAYS ALL DATA IS CORRUPTED)

When card was removed and sent to DME xxx.002 and xxx.005 were not written for those days.

After re-installation data is again being recorded.

Will the Resprionics ENCORE ONE software be able to read SD card?

Thanks in advance for any help

As in damaged during the import upload? No. Nothing in that process would result in damaged files on the card.

There is Encore Viewer 2.0 and Encore Pro 2.4...yes, these software packages will read the SD card.

SleepyHead will also read the SD card. Have you seen it? Quite stable for being relatively young and nothing it it to damage files either. http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/
User Guidehttp://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/s ... sers_Guide

None of these programs will harm any files on the SD card. Files can be damaged inadvertently by navigating to the SD card and poking around in the files and folders. To be removed accidentally usually requires a confirmation to delete. Files can be damaged when the machine is writing to the SD card if the card is removed too quickly after turning the machine off but that is rather hard to do because the data gets written pretty darn quickly (I have watched it when I turn off the machine).

Of course it is possible to have a bad SD card.

Thanks.
I have opened and closed files, but as far as OKNOR is concerned, it still reads them correctly. I was told the machine stores all the data so I don't know why I'm missing the day the SD card was out? IS the SW you mentioned Windows based, I have a MAC?
Thanks

SleepyHead does have a Mac version and lots of Mac users use it. Look for Jimbos Mac build. The User guide also include Mac information
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/files/

You are only missing one day? If SD card is left out of a PR S1 machine one night..the only data normally lost will be wave form...I have done it and seen it myself. It is my understanding the the .005 files are waveform files.
When I left my SD card out (more than once ) and would then place it in the machine....the machine would then write the previous night's data to the card (minus the waveform) and I didn't lose anything except the waveform flow data. I have never had an entire night of data go AWOL.

Perhaps there was a minor problem writing to the SD card causing a damaged file. Things do happen.

Encore Pro and Viewer are Windows based software and will work on a Mac but only if you run it in a Windows environment..like BootCamp.
