Some places have hurricaines. Others have tornadoes or earthquakes or mudslides or severe winter ice storms that knock out the power for (potentially) weeks at a time.
I used to live where there was severe winter weather (outside of Ottawa, Canada) and now I live where we might get hit by a hurricane. <sigh>
I once tried to figure out someplace "perfect". I gave up after finding some fault no matter what location I thought of.

Lori......those pictures were something else....unbelievable. Can you imagine trying to clean the ice off those cars.
