Good morning SU.

One thing I'll comment on: His hose disconnecting at the bottom.

Putting it on something to raise it up?
In my spare bedroom, I have a small box to set it on and in my bedroom a wire rack. So my cpap is raised approx. 6+ inches off the floor in both rooms.

Another thought:
Maybe he's pulling the hose out and its disconnecting like my Dad's. I don't know what kind of bed your son sleeps on (full, twin etc).
By putting something (pillows, stuffed animals etc) that would keep him closer to his cpap without going too far on the opposite side of the bed.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks to everyone for their support and suggestions! We have had 3 nights with the new machine and no gaps in the data! I don't think I'll ever find out whether the old machine was turning off on him or just leaving gaps in the data (I hope it was the latter...).

Very pleased with your success. I'm not normally one to express emotion...but I was like your son. I did whatever was asked of me. I'm proud of him and wish you both the best.

Thanks, CN. Unfortunately my son doesn't do everything I ask of him. Things would go so much more smoothly at my house if everyone just did what I ask of them. I can't understand why no one else can see the genius in this.
