Intellipap Auto updated! coooool

Way back when I bought my Intellipap auto, it didn't have exhalation relief. My Smartlink software was version 1.6.3.

I recently discovered there was newer software but mine was so old I couldn't auto-update. I had to buy the new version. I'm fine with that. It came with a cable that allowed me to update the firmware on the machine! WAY TO GO, DEVILBISS! Seriously. Kudos to Devilbiss for making this possible. I don't know how to USE SMartflex yet, but I'm assuming I now have exhalation relief.

The only issue I've encountered is that my original SD card is no longer even recognized by the Smartlink Desktop software. The Intellipap still sees it just fine. My computer has no problem with it. Fortunately when I purchased the new software, it came with a new SD card and THAT one works fine all the way around. I have asked Devilbiss whether or not that original SD card can be made to work. If not, I'll just use the new one that came with the software.

This is still the best machine I've used. It works great, it's quiet, it's small and travels well (it has been to the Bahamas, and St Lucia, and several trips to Florida, Connecticut, etc... I like it)

I'm just posting this because I am really impressed with Devilbiss ... really happy right now and really impressed. If my machine got run over by a tour bus tomorrow, I'd buy another Intellipap without hesitation.

Im glad to hear that. I had been looking at one on craigslist to use as a backup but decided I couldn't spend the money this close to Christmas. I'll keep it in mind for next time.
