I hv contacted Cpap.com for return and God, they are fast, a return code is issued in the same day. But, one thing catches my attention,
“Although machine diagnosis is usually completed within a week, if your machine has to be sent to the manufacturer for repair, the turn-around is usually about three to six weeks.” a direct quota fm the e-mail by Cpap.com.
It is reasonable that Capa.com needs a week for machine diagnosis. But, aren’t they supposed to send me a new machine, after the diagnosis, for replacement which is stated in their website, “Warranty Two years; replace with new”.
Further, time is important, I wait for about one month only for a new replacement instead of waiting almost 3 months for factory diagnosis. Christmas is coming and mail traffic is getting heavy. I really need the machine asap.
I just wonder what is their replacement policy? Or, under what circumstance that they will do the replacement?
you might be able to hire a machine while you wait, though for BPAPs, I dont know, it might be hard to find one. another alternative is to wear the costs, avoid the warrantee and take it to a local repair shop that has experience in xPAP's. or further to buy a 2nd hand machine that will do the job temporarily.

The case and power connector on my unit appears to be the same...and I had the same issue one day. The power connector at the equipment end has a right angle plug and in a couple of orientations the case keeps it from being fully seated in the socket. I found that if it were oriented with the angled part of the plug facing straight down, it seemed to make a more secure connection. Have not had a repeat since doing so.
