I got up often before CPAP and that has dropped to once a night and only then if I continue to drink fluids right before bedtime. Last night I had a diet Coke right B4 bedtime, had excellent results on CPAP, and never got up once. Every time, it seems, that my results are very good I don't get up and I have deduced that "good" treatment in addition to CPAP usage is a deterrent to to getting up so much. Depending on the mask you use, you'll find ways not to take it off even if you do get up and this will allow you to stay sleepy. Good luck to you. Once it becomes semi-natural to you, you wouldn't have it any other way.

I was 3 - 5 times a night, and initially, I was down to about 2 times, and interestingly since switching the APAP mode to CPAP Mode, I'm down to one time per night. Not sure if the auto pap was waking me when it went to higher pressure and so I got up (out of habit or just a subtle urge to pee).

I hadn't made the connection before reading this thread, but I'm down to once during the night or morning ( 5 or 6 a.m. - hey, I'm retired ) I had been attributing the more frequent, pre CPAP trips to an enlarged prostate, but now I think the CPAP has helped more than the saw palmetto pills.
