Newbie and questions about data

Post by brendansmon » Mon Nov 14, 2011 9:06 am

I'm fairly new to all of this. I went through a trial period with my machine as an auto pap and have now been switched over to a cpap with a pressure of 10. I use the Resmed S9 and it has a data card. What do I need to do to get information from the card and what exactly am I looking for when I do download the results? I feel like I am sleeping better on the machine lately but I'm still exhausted all day long so I'm curious to see what the data tells me.

Thanks for your help!

You will need the ResScan software, look for the free link under member Uncle Bob profile.
You will put the data card into the card reader on your computer, create a patient file in the ResScan software, and download your data from card. You will see Summary and Detailed data and graphs, minute by minute for the night on pressure, AHI, leak etc.

Uncle Bob link for software here..look in his signature. memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=38643

In the clinical menu Sleep Quality needs to be set to ON and not Usage...to get the detailed data

Thanks!!

I'm sure once I get some data downloaded I'll have a ton of questions for all you experts out there.
