Well i just called Zeo and according to them the battery cannot be changed by the user. A replacement headband comes with the transmitter and battery.davelikesbeer wrote:Actually, I bet that does not include the blue tooth component. The headband has the electrodes and three snap connectors that connect to the blue tooth component. I think the $20 is just for the headband so you can replace your worn electrodes.Uncle_Bob wrote: ...
Thanks Dave. I don't suppose the battery is much of an issue as the complete replacement head bands are $20.

That is good to know. It basically means the $99 price tag is way inflated. If the headband is $20 and includes the transmitter, then the other $79 is for the charger.Uncle_Bob wrote: ...

By the way, where do you see the replacement headband for the Zeo Mobile on their website? All I see are the "Zeo Bedside Headband & Sensor Replacement Kit" in both a single and triple pack.
This is not compatible with the Zeo Mobile.
Dave.

Both the mobile and bedside units use different headbands.
replacement headbands for both versions may be purchased as follows
Zeo Bedside
1) Headband & sensor (elastic part shown in accessories section on web site) is $19.95
2) Electronics (including battery) is $49
Zeo Mobile
1) Headband & sensor (not currently shown on web site) will be $19.95
2) Electronics (including battery) will be $49

Re: Zeo Mobile Review
Bob, that's interesting. I had assumed the replacement for the bedside was a complete headset, since they don't show the replacement with battery on the site. Hmmm
So I started fiddling with mine. The sensor/strap unsnaps from the battery enclosure. Didn't know that. I may replace it soon anyway since I bought mine used.... or maybe not. It seems to be working fine.
I assume the battery is Lithium Ion and I've gotten pretty good life out of them.

Re: Zeo Mobile Review
Yeah, when you reorder you get the sensors and the headband. No transmitter. My sensors are getting quite a few days (since June 26th) on them and still seem to be working OK. After reading on the Zeo forum about cleaning it, I rinsed mine in rubbing alcohol and let it air dry. Zeo seemed to approve this, though they officially say to wash it in Woolite. Anyway, the alcohol seemed to work fine (still worked after) and it looked like it got a fair amount of dirt out.
Liz, I hear you about the EPR. I did a lot better when I quit using it, too.

Re: Zeo Mobile Review
I took the strap off my zeo headband and slid a thin double sided velcro (from an old laptop charger cord) between sensor pad and zeo device. Then velcroed the zeo right to forehead cushion on cpap mask.
