Cpap and Smartphone

Recently, I put my regular alarm clock in the closet in exchange for using my smartphone to wake me up for work.
What can I say, I'd rather wake up to a melodic sound and chirping birds rather than a rude honk, honk, honk (NOTE: It reminds me of the movie "Mary Poppins" every time I hear it) In my bedroom, I put in on my nightstand which is reasonable distance away. However, when I sleep in the spare bedroom, I put it on the nightstand there as well but it's not as convenient. In Starlette's perfect world (I can wish ), I'd have it behind my cpap just for the sake of convenience.

QUESTION: Would that be a danger to me (thinking of radiation) having it that close to my cpap? Inquiring minds need to know.

Star: I think the jury is still out on the radiation-thang'. I think the phone has to be against your head (or ear) to do damage they claim. Sheriff

Hmmmmm Unless the manufacturer put a warning on the phone, sounds like a products liability case to me, if you suffer any ill effects. I am sure any one of the jokers who advertise on television here would take the case. If you did not have an injury or it is not bad enough to impress a jury I am sure any of these guys would help you create an impressive soft tissue injury claim. If it’s too noisy, you they might get a loss of consortium award.

Just thought of an idea. I'll take a picture of what I'm talking about and post it. I think the distance between my cpap and smartphone would be about 5 inches.

I would think the nightstand would be fine, as long as you aren't sleeping with your head on the nightstand. The RF signal that's coming to your phone, is with you all the time from the transmitting tower, even if you don't own a phone. (Background radiation polution, from our living in a electronic world)
Probably one of the leading causes of Cancer besides chemicals in our enviroment, I'd worry more about the T.V. or a electric blanket. Jim
