Six Years Now

Today is my six year anniversary of treatment for OSA.
I used to post very faithfully , but life has gotten in the way of having time. I doubt many of you remember me.
If you are new, or struggling, I'd like you to know that treatment DOES work, but it IS work. It took all these years, much advice and lots of manipulating to get it right. Yes, there are still those days when I'm sleepy, but very few and far between.
Life is so much better now, and I cannot imagine not going to sleep with my CPAP. It's now a welcome intrusion, and my comfort.
Most importantly, the reason for my success has been this board and all the unselfish people that cared enough about my struggle to help me.
I'm forever grateful. I'm pretty sure where I'd be without those people.

Both parts of that statement are very true. I'm still a newb in this, and you really do have to stay on top of your therapy, but if you do, it's worth the effort.

Hi Lee Lee. I remember you well. You were still fairly new when I arrived here. It's good to hear your cpap use has given you the energy to have a busy life. Aside from an occasional somewhat "off" night, my cpap use has also become quite routine. Good to hear from you - hope you can stop in from time to time.

Haha, Lee Lee, you say that like you remember my early months. No, when I first started cpap, I thought it would surely be the death of me. So glad I was wrong and that I listened to those here who seemed so sure it was going to be ok.

Of course we remember you. I'm glad to hear that you are doing well enough to let 'life get in the way'! I agree, you need to check in more regularly!
