Staples work great, and you can remove it and it doesn't have all the glue gunk on it. Staples and duct tape are mans best friend.

The Gorilla super glue (not the regular Gorilla glue that expands 100 times its original mass) was minimal. No gunk, no bulk....completely invisible and quite strong.

I had past experience with the original regular Gorilla glue and its expansion rate. Glued the soles back onto my favorite work boots. OMG that crap oozed out everywhere. Soles are on but looks horrible.

The Gorilla Super Glue doesn't do that at all. I had it handy from a small minor wood fixing job. I suppose any Super Glue would probably work.

"Glue gunk" meaning if I needed to remove the velcro, there would be no visible sign that anything was done.
