Hose Leaks

I'm sure I've seen it discussed before but at the moment I can't find it: What have y'all found to be the best remedy for leaks in your main hose?

I haven't found a good solution.

I tried taping my hose. I tried superglue. I even tried Band-Aid Liquid Bandage. Then I gave up and bought a new hose. They're only 10 bucks so it wasn't too bad.
