Newbie reports on second morning of therapy 2

Post by Doesheah » Sat Oct 15, 2011 9:09 am

After the first night, I felt similar to the way I did the day after the sleep study at the St. Francis Sleep Center. It was an unusual feeling, zombie-like, knowing I had slept some but wanting to go back home and sleep for about another week. For the past 20+ years, I have been completely unaware of the sleep disorder and was used to going through the motions of sleeping every night then going to work and functioning surprisingly well. Little did I know that I was close to being one of those people who "died quietly in his sleep". My blood pressure would be higher upon waking every morning. The sleep center said my AHI was 63.6, 350 obstructive breathing events lasting up to 73.9 seconds. Sleep efficiency was 70.1%. Do I deserve some kind of prize?
