my boyfriend may have sleep apnea and we dont have medical insurence.my question is do you know if there are any sleep studies that are free or low in cost

The best way is to find a doctor that will write a prescription for an auto-titrating cpap for your boy friend bases on his symptoms. Then all you have to do is by the machine, mask and humidifier. The "auto" machine will adjust the pressure to the level he requires. This is not the "BEST" approach but it has worked for some on the forum and is much less expensive than a sleep study.
