Devilbiss 9001

Post by stu68 » Fri Feb 10, 2006 5:46 am

Hello all,I've been looking through the site and seen comments about software and compliance, the machine I use has a 2 year on-board compliance memory. How do I access this memory. I take it I will need some software and hardware to connect to myPC. Were will I get this from. I live in the UK so not sure about shipping from US. Or even a user manual for the unit. I don't pay for my CPAP machines or mask's they are provided by the NHS, (we don't have to pay for medical treatment).

If all it has is compliance memory, you probably don't need it - unless for some reason you want to track the number of hours you've slept with the machine on.
Here's what the Devilbiss compliance software does: (http://www.talkaboutsleep.com/third_tie ... ftware.htm)

DeVilbiss IPS (Information Processing System) Software
IPS Software Features
• Download for free at http://www.sleepcompliance.com/html/download.htm
• Installs easily onto an existing Internet-enabled personal computer
• Features an easy-to-use Windows® based interface
• Generates compliance reports and graphs
• Send e-mail alerts when patient non-compliance is detected
• Maintains CPAP serial numbers and inventory records
• Password and login protected access

Don't you dig that "Send e-mail alerts when patient non-compliance is detected "?

The kind of data you need to really take control of your therapy is breathing events data, and I'm afraid it doesn't seem like the Devilbiss follows that...
