I really wanted the FX to be *my* mask. I liked how minimal it was. The LT is a bit more difficult to read with, as the pillow/hose module sticks out further. But I just coudln't get the FX to stay in place.Pugsy wrote: The Swift LT was my first mask (Swift FX hadn't been thought of yet) and it was a little more stable. For some people it is probably a whole lot more stable than the FX. For me there was only a very minor instability issue (some back strap movement) with the FX but completely offset by the "less on my face thing". This is why we have so many choices out there. One mask doesn't always suit everyone and each person has to find their own.
I am keeping the FX as a backup. It's possible that, after I get more used to this whole CPAP thing, I might be able to use it without so many leaks. I did order the Padacheeck things, but haven't gotten them yet. I probably will keep them, since I'm keeping my FX as a backup. But thanks for the offer! I'd hate to see them go to waste.Pugsy wrote:Glad you found one that works for you. Are you keeping the Swift FX as backup for trial later? Did you order some Padacheek comfort items that won't work on the LT? If you did and don't want to keep them, let me know as there might be something I could use and I will buy them from you.
I'll be packing everything up for a trip soon. That will be my next adventure with CPAP.
