New Resmed S9 Skin Covers

Post by sleepnationtv » Wed Sep 28, 2011 7:46 am

Resmed is partnering with Skin It to provide skin covers for S9 devices. There are lots of options to choose from and you can upload your own photos. Resmed came in to our office yesterday to show us the new product and gave us some coupon codes. Retail is $44.99 but contact us to get a coupon code at cpaplibrary@gmail.com and you will get $10 off. The product is just about to launch so when we get the coupon codes we will start sending them out. Let us know if you want to get on the list.

here is a link to our post and pictures. http://www.cpaplibrary.com/s9-skin-it-covers.html

Interesting. I went to look and did not see any skins I would be interested in. However this is a nice idea. My machine is plenty nice just plain! lol

I hope they do one like the USMC Flag cover but without the military logo. I was never in the military, but would just LOVE to have a US Flag skin.

Seems like a waste of money to me, but to each his own.

My thoughts were initially like JeffL's.... wondering what on earth would anyone want skin covers?

Each his own....

I thought they were kinda cool myself...maybe it's a "girl" thing! Hope they decide to do that for the PR1's too!!

Another way for Resmed to make more money - as if they don't make enough already with the outrageous prices that they charge for everything !

I personally would not spend the money. Looking for things that enhance the quality of my therapy. Not looking for a book cover. Don't begrudge the person who is though.

My newly diagnosed, Packers-loving daughter would love this for her S9 that she's picking up tomorrow. I wonder if the Packer cover will come standard, as she lives in Wisconsin ?

What's wrong with the way the machine looks "naked"??? Maybe if Resmed spent more money on research of machines and masks they would make everyone alot happier. Resmed is all about the all mighty $$$$$$ instead of patients comfort.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

What! No Steelers skin?!!!!

Please put me down on the list, I like the flag with the saluting silhouette, without the USMC logo, if I can't get a Pittsburgh Steelers skin.

What a ridiculous waste of money. This is a medical device, not a high schooler's 3 ring binder.

This isn't some sort of conspiracy or Resmed ignoring the real needs of its patients...geez...

I'm sure Resmed licensed the skin company the right to produce skins for the S9. I'll bet the skin company makes way more money on this than Resmed does. I'm not sure I would want one but I applaud Resmed for allowing a company to further soften the "medicality" (if such a word exists) of its product. There are a lot of people, especially younger ones, who can be demoralized and/or intimidated by their device. I say anything that boosts morale is bound to improve compliance, which is a good thing of course.
