Import ResMed into Sleepyhead v7.4229

Post by Perrybucsdad » Mon Sep 26, 2011 4:07 pm

Does anyone know how to import the data from the ResMed S9 into Sleephead v7.4299? I click on Import, and point it to the card, but nothing imports. When I do this w/ v8 it imports all the data. What is different with v7.4229 or am I pointing it to the wrong location?

This is alpha software. It is not intended for daily use. Old versions are ignored as soon as a newer one comes out. You are wasting your time with anything other than the latest drop. Indeed, at this stage, the only reason to use the program should be to find and report bugs and other problems. I repeat, you are wasting your time with an outdated alpha version.

Okay, then how do I get the version that are shown in the screen shots? I had v8, but it doesn't show have the things that are shown in the screen shots on SF (e.g. Pie chart event breakdown, etc). I write software myself so I don't mind testing or helping with the alpha, just looking for some info.

Try clicking on the "datalog" directory or whatever it's called.

Newer versions work differently.

You should be able to find the newest windoze build here:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/files/

If you have a Mac, look in the "Jimbos Mac Builds" subdirectory.

If you have the Qt SDK installed, you can build the source code, although that is only for the truly adventurous.

To use the other versions (older than .8.0) one needs to point to the P series folder as import source.
Newer versions one points to the folder above the P series folder which is essentially the drive where the SD card is placed.
I think the pie charts have been replaced with the colored bars with %.

Everyone, please use the most recent version for your operating system, or - if you are truly adventurous and are a bit of a geek - build the source code using the Qt SDK. It is not helpful to report problems with outdated versions. Mark is developing the software very quickly and needs feedback about the MOST RECENT CODE, not older code with problems that may already have been fixed.

The best way to be informed of new builds for your operating system is to join the sleepyhead-devel mailing list and watch for announcements of new builds. You can join the mailing list by subscribing at https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/lis ... head-devel .

It is a low-volume mailing list. You may need to create a sourceforge account before you can join it.
