Sorry to hear that you are having problems. Have you made any changes to pillow or to the location/set up of your PAPpy? Or, has something else changed in your life recently?

I would not ignore new pain. It's a signal that something is out of whack. Hopefully, it is something that can be easily fixed. If the pain isn't causing major trouble, you could possibly start with a change in pillow, or in "hose management." Only you can tell if it seems more serious that this. If in doubt, go to the doctor. Better safe than sorry.

Pillows and mattresses compress and die slowly. go and try out some new ones.
And remember - life goes on on cpap, we age, we deal with real life and its stresses, cpap means we handle it easier but it is still there.

Chesillo, welcome to the forum. Not knowing what kind of equipment you use, particularly mask and pillow.. it's difficult to guess what's going on different. You might look at the possiblity that you're sleeping in unusual positions trying to keep the mask from leaking. Some of us find CPAP pillows helpful in that it has cutouts for the mask. I use a thin one because my neck does not tolerate a too firm or thick pillow. Some folks go to great lengths over their hose to keep it out of the way.. I don't but some do.
As ThirdOutOfFive mentions, don't ignore the pain issue. I was found to have a twisted spine recently, shortly before embarking on CPAP. I'm sure trying to wiggle around to find a leak-free position challenges our upper bodies in new ways.
Anyway, if you would like more specific input, you might register as a user and follow the link below to add your equipment in so we can guess more intelligently when you have questions. Good Luck.

I would check out neck and back problems just to be sure it's nothing more than stress. However, after I purchased a memory foam pillow which I tuck down under my neck, my neck/high back problems pretty much disappeared. For years I woke with severe headaches and neck pain. Since using CPAP, less headaches and neck pain. I think a combination of a great pillow and CPAP.
