Bad night with mask leaks

Post by kaiya2465 » Fri Sep 16, 2011 5:40 am

Well I am not real sure yet, but it's either me or the masks I have. I fought with the Swift fx for her first, then the Quattro fx FFM. The Swift straps kept falling off my head even after some modification & the Quattro leaked & kept blowing air into my eyes. I am not due for another mask til Oct. 7th so til then I guess I will continue to argue with them.....Any suggestions.

Have you tried a mask liner with your Mirage Quattro? I use the mask liner and anti-leak strap from padacheek.com, and have reduced my leak rate to 4 L/min or less.

Due to horrendous eye or chin leaks, I could not wear the quattros (FX or original)
Resmed's ergonomics, unfortunately, requires either a lot more nose or a lot more chin than Nature supplied to me.
I do have very good fit with the Respironics Full life.
If one brand doesn't work, I suggest you try someone else's product.
Good luck!

I think that is my problem with the Quattro Fx also. Thanks chunkyfrog.
