Hi Gaga,
Far as your mask being torn apart, I'd guess that after washing it and re-assembling it, you didn't get it all snapped together correctly. Those Blues are hard to assemble sometimes. And if the damn thing started falling apart on you while using it...well that could explain a few things too.

I've been on CPAP just under two months and things have gone smoothly except for one night when I woke up discombobulated...mask on the floor, hose disconnected, and everything generally in chaos. No memories of anything and no bad dreams.

Sounds like you have a great attitude and that helps alot with this struggle.
Take care,
Jamis

OMG!!! Thanks for ALLL the chuckles guys!!! Some of you are hilarious...umm, is this due to the many years of lack of sleep...oxygen deprivation?!!!! LOL! I can tell you what I DID feel when I woke up...."DANG IT...a whole nights sleep lost for NOTHING!!!" I was seriously disappointed, not to mention the fact the shock of finding the mask in pieces...what's worse....I had no idea prior to the thing even CAME apart let alone how it did!!!!! No dogs, no cats...okay, I have one little chihuahua, but she's as old as my mother so I'm pretty sure she didn't do it! Stressed out? Pretty much on a daily basis I'd say and seriously sleep deprived the last several nights, so guess it could have been subconscious cpap rage?!

On a good note...ended up having to leave work early and get Mom as she is having some physical troubles today...first chance I got this afternoon, I slapped that mask on (I now know how to not only take it apart, BUT put it back together!!) and went to sleep....ahhhhh!!! got a whole 2 hours of blissful napping!!

Just pulled out my data card, thought I'd see about those aliens you all talk about...well, apparently I didn't have my card pushed in all the way cause there's no data after the last time I pulled the card out!! arrrgghhh!!! Dang it, dang it, dang it!!

Aliens probably did that as well. Aliens are getting more clever.

That's conclusive proof it was drunken, or at least clumsy, aliens. You just can't find good space alien laborers these days.

sounds like a good script for Paranormal Activity 3 -
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1179904/

the aliens are only coming for us CPAPPers becaise they think we are preparing for when they change the atmosphere. they also know we have experience in low O2 scenarios.

you could try wearing a straight jacket, handcuffs, big mittens, hannibal lecter mask, larger size to fit over the mask's we already have.

Put the card back in and maybe some of your data will get written to the card. A while back I forgot to insert the card and I had not lost it all. So next time you look at your data.. go back to this date and check it.
I think your only loss will be flow data or waveform.

Pugsy, I wondered about that as when I pushed the card in the screen said something to the affect of creating data, do not remove card!!! I haven't looked at it yet..may try this morning if I get time before work. I do believe what therapy I get is working...that nap I took yesterday wouldn't let me go to sleep last night!! Usually I can "sleep" all night, take a nap in the afternoon, and STILL ready to go to bed by 8..not last night!! Mom only got up once, but I fought with the mask all night...leaking like a sieve seemed like everytime I moved. I know it's not becuase I didn't get it put back together as it sealed great for that nap...oh well, tonight is another night and it's Friday...keeping fingers crossed for a chance at sleeping in tomorrow!!

Thanks again everyone for all the laughs...I do believe it is the best medicine...well, that and a cpap machine!!!
