Anyone use the heated hose without humidifier?

Post by ErnieH » Tue Sep 13, 2011 2:25 am

I don't use a humidifier. My wife and I like to sleep in a chilly room with a big comforter. I love the cold room but the cold air coming up my nose is sometimes unbearable. Does anyone use that Australian heated hose without the humidifier? If you do, how well does it work?

Thanks,
Ernie

I have used mine with the humidifier on, with the humidifier off, and with no humidifier at all. I have never had a rainout problem, I only use it to warm the air going up my nose. The air would get so cold my nose hurt. With the heated hose my nose stays nice and warm! Never had a single problem with it. The air doesn't get hot, just gently warmed. I keep mine on a timer, when I go to bed it is all warmed up already and it shuts off when my alarm goes off in the morning.
