My Patriots LOST to the Detroit Lions!!!!!! I'm drowning in this Quattro FX full face mask w/all the tears and slobber! I know it is only a pre-season game but ... sheesh!

Keep in mind, all the really good teams which have title hopes, use the preseason to give a good look at rookies. The vets mostly watch and swap stories. After all very few of those newcomers to the Patriots will make the team, as it is pretty good as is.

The really poor teams, on the other hand, put in their first string guys through out the games and really bear down to win. They are hoping to build up their season ticket sales before the fans find out they are not likely to go far in the post season.
