It simply amazes me the desperate criticisms by extremist "conservatives" against Barak Obama!!!

I could understand criticisms of his early appointments who had "tax problems" that they quickly rectified. I could understand criticisms that so many of his appointments and close advisers are from the thick of the financial world. I could understand that he has failed to provide sufficient "Leadership". There are other justified reasons to criticize his presidency but the desperate, inane and asinine criticims that are spouted by the GOP extremists .... not born in the USA, a secret Muslim .... spare me, folks!!! Grow up and get real.

Get real with what Slinky? I'm not an " extremist", I just hate liars and his actions prove that, and also proves at the same time that everything that comes out of his mouth is simply meant to mislead people and that seems to be working all to well.

All documents and questions have been checked by experts in fraud and every direction under the sun. It has been thrown out of court. But that is irrelevant because they don't want to believe it. The operative word here is "believe". There is no logic involved, no critical thinking, it is purely faith based rhetoric.

Lies are what they want to hear so that is what they will hear. If the guy said "the sky is blue" they would howl that it is cobalt or turquoise.

That is simply false. Congress never grilled Senator McCain about his constitutional eligibility. What would they have asked him anyway? What could he have remembered? Double standard indeed!

It troubles me that so many of the "facts" that form the basis of birther and related theories are believed and repeated when they can be shown so easily to be untrue. For example,

There is less from Columbia University, where Obama transferred for his last two years, but that shouldn't come as a surprise. A transfer student in New York City at a place where transfers had to live off-campus could easily remain out of the limelight, but it isn't true that "NO ONE and I mean NO ONE" remembers him. One of the things that has always bothered me so much about the Kenyan birth argument is how much energy is expended creating complex explanations for a story so ridiculously implausible. If someone were to tell me that they had evidence that a politician, like Obama, was guilty of graft or covering up a crime, I would pay attention, because in the real world people do corrupt things for money and cover up wrongdoing to stay out of jail. I understand these motives. But why on earth would a 19-year-old first-time mother travel halfway around the world in 1961 to give birth in Kenya, a colony then in the throes of its independence movement, only five years past the end of the Mau Mau uprising? We needed a word, jetsetter, for people who could indulge in that kind of international air travel in those days. Think of the expense, and the time sitting around in Nairobi waiting, since babies so seldom care about due dates. It is simply one of the wackiest notions I ever heard. I'd have to see airplane tickets, a stamped visa, and a hospital bill before I could believe something like that.

It's so sad to see that people all around have fallen for the liberal lies. Unicorns, sunshine, lolipops and puppies for all forever!!!! . Too bad all those brave men had to die in vain in WWII in Europe and in the Pacific fighting communism and imperialism to protect the liberals freedom that they despise so much and certainly don't deserve today. Just exactly what is the proven beyond legal doubt lie you think I'm proliferating? If it's the birth certificate, I would love to show you exactly why I believe it's a forgery. Hilary Clinton desperately wanted to become president. With all of her resources and connections, if there was any real evidence that Obama was born outside of the US, she would have come up with it during the primaries.

Will you stop beating a dead horse, I think everyone has heard enough about this......NEXT time don't vote for him. If all the voters believe as you do then he won't get elected..game over. I"m sure Mrs Clinton and Mr Trump have checked the story out down to the very last detail and if its true, don't you think those two would have made more of a stink about it..

This thread discusses things actually relevant and of import. So I am not engaging in conservative-bashing when I am critical of the "birther" theories. I am simply befuddled and, honestly, irritated.

Again, I TRULY believe Obama is a natural born citizen.
