I've never had to deal with that, but treatment will depend on what's causing the inflammation. Do you know whether it's an infection, chemical irritation (from soap), or something else? And how old is your son?

Circumcision will cure it.

Take your son to his pediatrician.
Information from strangers on a sleep apnea website on the internet is not the best way to care for a child.
