I like the hose to lie across my body, but it was constantly falling off and waking me up. I looked at hose holders, but none seemed right for my needs.
I make hand stitched quilts and I hate to use anything that might hurt the quilt. Forget breathing, save the quilt.
I made a hose holder from a fabric remnant of my quilt. I hemmed it, aligned it with the edge of a square and hand sewed two of its edges, making a little tube for the hose. I hand sewed lightly, so in the event of a big pull, the stitching will give way and not tear the quilt.
I'm telling you, it works like magic. When I move, it moves, and the hose lies quietly across my body. Unless you know the "patch" is on the quilt, you can't see it. I assume most of you are not quilters, but I think it would work on any type of blanket or comforter.

Re: Hose holder
There are quite a few quilters on this forum....and I am a hand quilter too.. my quilts have never been touched by a sewing machine..just me and my handy-dandy size 10 needles and thread.
