What humidifier is she using? If it's the Humidaire 2i that comes with the ResMed S7 machines, I found that particular humidifier didn't create anywhere near the amount of humidification others do, even when I cranked it up to highest level.

Mouthbreathing in a full face mask can be very drying, unfortunately, even with a really effective heated humidifier set for the max.

The best heated humidifier I've used is the separate Fisher & Paykel HC 150. Perhaps try that.

If she can get the Aussie heated hose (from sleepzone.com.au) to replace the main air hose, that will give the heated humifidied air the best chance to reach her with as much humidification intact as possible.

Adding a chinstrap to that full face mask just may help with the dry mouth. A wide open mouth can mean a very dry mouth. Slightly parted lips, with the help of a chin strap, might mean waking with a slightly dry mouth instead.
