I don't see anything but the post saying "guest" post was deleted.

(Although I did see a little guy on the wing of the airplane)
I saw that one. William Shatner was in it.

But this one is more like the episode where the aliens get a neighborhood all in an uproar about weird goings-on and get them all accusing each other of being aliens, etc. Can't recall the name of that one, but the same thing might be happening right here.

Scary!

I'm... um, ...not an alien...um, just because I live on the Death Star, doesn't mean I'm not human!

Not unusual, over time I've discovered its about 50/50 as to which way around the polarity is across all commercial 12V equipment that uses that sort of barrel connector.
i believe there was a comment about how odd it would be to have 50/500 odds when you have 2 ways to do something, right bill

Very unusual indeed, I have 15 wall warts within 20 feet of me most are 12 volt d/c but some are five and nine , all are positive center pin. While center pin positive isn't a standard, it shood be unless you just want to build a non-standard t. device just to make it more harder to hook up, maybe rip a few more dollars from fools that will buy your peoduct. The cost of building would be the same, maybe it's got something to do with the direction water drains south of the equator. Jim

I think you are being a bit sensitive... I was a guest for awhile until I could deal with the newness of it all, and finally attempted
registering, put in my machine, etc. I didn't have a problem being a guest... and I certainly don't have problems with a guest.

Several very kind people sent me a link so that I could register. Lots of info here that I haven't found any place else, and it's nice to know that there are others who have experienced the same problems.

Some problems exist on the very best of Boards... it's the nature of things... people are different and disagree. That's not why most of us are here tho.

We are here b/c we have a problem and are tying to deal with it the best way possible. Getting use to this new diagnosis isn't easy... it helps to know I'm not the only one who hates their mask, but realizes that like it or not, we must and are going to use it.

Take the plunge and register.

There is a problem when members delete posts without a cause.
It is a problem for all board users - oldies, newbies, registered and guests when a registered member deletes a post without a causes.

Any registered member who does that is doing the board and its readers more harm than good.

We have had registered members whose only aim was to harm the board - their success was always temporary. We have had members lose control of themselves and go on bizzare deletion sprees - their spam button was yanked - and there were cases where those who were intentionally destructive were banned. Like in any other community, people in this community are of different kinds - the majority are kind and helpful. A small minority is cruel and destructive. Some are adolescents craving for attention, and some are probably going through psychotic breakdowns. I've met all of those types in real life, and I'm sure most of the other members on this forum have also - such is human society.

Guest, whether you register or whether you don't is immaterial. Take what good you can out of this board - there is a lot of it here. You are welcome to remain as a guest and learn whatever may help you, as well as contribute whatever you can to others.

ems - I too was a guest here before I felt comfortable enough to register.

Has anyone answered OP's original question?
My clog moves to the 'down' nostril when I swap sides.
Humidifier usually keeps my nose clear.
Others use neti pot--generally harmless; still others use sprays--some not so harmless.
Sorry we went off on a tangent.

If you're referring to SleeplessInBrussels original question in a different thread:
One Nostril Blocked
SleeplessInBrussels wrote:Hello - I notice in the morning sometimes that one nostril is blocked (could be either side). I don't know at what point it gets blocked. Is this a problem? Am I making too much effort to breathe out of just one nostril with mask on? Should I worry about this or ignore it? Thanks!

Then yes, several people did post their answers, starting with these three replies:
davelikesbeer wrote:It's normal for one nostril to be clearer than the other, alternating between the two. This is called the nasal cycle.
rested gal wrote:Dave's right. ---
Here was some info I found several years ago with a Google search for "one nostril or the other blocked": (links and quotes followed)
yrnkrn wrote:While this is considered normal, I did find out that using nasal steroids spray (either fluticasone furoate or Mometasone furoate) before sleep, both nostrils are kept open until morning and I clearly sleep better.
