Not so much of a problem with taste as such or nausea, but it is well known that the older you get the more painful it is.sickwithapnea17 wrote:why exactly do you need tonsils and adenoids?
after surgery do you lose your sense of taste and are nauseous and unable to work for 14 days?
it seems that the surgery would at least partially cure your obstructive sleep apnea for many people, is the 1% cure rate only for complete cure?
It is the level of pain and more importantly, the risk of infection (which I got on day 6) that requires 14 days recovery, sometimes more
The more people you are in contact with, the higher the risk. (I went to a shopping mall on recovery day 4 and probably picked it up there).
I believe the 1% is for complete cure, I'm no surgeon but the way it was explained to me is that if your tonsils are not enlarged then they
will not be responsible for your sleep apnea.
