Last night about 12:30am we lost power for about an hour and a half.
I wondered what would happen and am glad to know it did not kill me.
It was very hard to breathe and I was glad to get the mask off so I could breath again.
When the power came on the pressure was venting from the mask loudly as it was laying on my night stand.
I put it back on and continued my very miserable nights sleep. 19.5 AHI.
Hope my sleep doc comes through with prescription for an ASV this week.

Re: Lost power last night
I am grateful my problem last night was more a 'comfort' issue--
but I am shocked that the electric company has no list of 'hey we are gonna be in trouble' addresses.
My little problem--really cranky today.
If they hadn't turned the juice on this morning,
I would have been tempted to pass out free tomatoes across from the electric company.
As it is, the guys in the truck were invited back later for FRESH garden produce.

Re: Lost power last night
I suspect there would be far too many people on that list to mean anything if they included everyone with CPAP, oxygen concentrators, etc. If they kept an official list, some people would expect "no fail" power and not make their own provisions for power outages. When there's a power outage, there are often fairly large areas without outages. Each of these areas is probably going to have quite a few power dependent people. They have to get the power to the area before they can worry about individual houses.chunkyfrog wrote:I am grateful my problem last night was more a 'comfort' issue--

I don't think it's realistic to expect the power company to worry about figuring out one house vs. another house for power needs. You've got to make provisions for yourself.
