I've developed a cough since I began using my CPAP a month ago. Are the two connected?

Yes, it could be connected. It could be that you are having acid reflux. While some people report at reduction of acid reflux symptoms with use of CPAP, others, like me, did not even know we had GERD until we started suing CPAP.

Raising the head of your bed by 4-6 inches may be the easiest thing to try first.

@linda..... You really should not use your email address as your username! Sets yourself up for spam.... You need to register and log in to fully use this forum. I'd suggest you do that, using another username, then fill out your Profile....and then go to Edit Equipment and choose your gear from the pull down menus on that page. When done, choose to show them in TEXT instead of pictures.
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

Hi... if I found myself in your shoes, I'd speak to the doctor who prescribed the machine/mask. I would ask for suggestions here... but, I would talk to my doctor.
