Sleep Connect Give-Away challenge

Should it turn out to be true..... I just won a Resmed mask. 10 Grand prizes were awarded (S9 Autosets) and some number of first prizes (Resmed premium masks). Just curious to know if anybody else here got real lucky and won a grand prize? 'Lucky' is not an adjective usually associated with my name.

I participated in ResMed's Super Sleep Trivia Challenge a while back. They promised free masks for everyone who took the quiz "while supplies last". After a month or so I got an email saying

Resmed wrote:All eligible game contestants* will receive a free Mirage™ FX mask in the next four to six weeks.

Down at the botttom it also said

All recipients must be verified as a health professional, medical clinician, distributor of sleep-disordered breathing (“SDB”) products or other professional involved in the treatment of SDB and duly licensed in the state before receiving a complimentary mask. Limit one mask per shipping address.

I do not remember anything about that on the page with the quiz, but I was pretty tired, could easily have missed it. I hope you get the mask, but beware of the fine print.

Geez; why am I not surprised?

I missed the part at the bottom that said you had to be in the sleep apnea business (whether as a clinician or supplier). They actually called my house and told my husband that I didn't qualify for the mask.

I was disappointed, but it's my own fault for not reading carefully.
