Lost only 2 lbs. this week. Did my 30 min. of exercise only 3 days this week. Need to increase, I guess. Even bought a new Gazelle (my latest toy), but didn't seem to have the time, or I was too tired after work to get on it. I guess it's better than a gain, so I shouldn't complain.

Bonnie,

A real cutie! My schnauzer died 1 1/2 years ago, and DH won't let me get another dog yet. He said he doesn't want to go through that evear again. It was like losing a child for us, and took a long time to get over it.

Lost 8 Lbs

Post by Mr Tired » Sun Jan 22, 2006 6:34 am

Sorry I am a little late. I weighed Friday & I went from 220 to 212 in two weeks. 8 pounds.....
Here is what I did. I cut out sweets & snacks, except one day I did indulge in some sweets. I cut my portions by quite a bit to a more reasonable amount & no seconds. Many days I had soup & a plain piece of whole wheat bread for supper. (I love the taste of whole wheat) I have to admit that I haven't excercised except for a little walking....I will have to improve on that.
I love to eat but I feel miserable when my stomach is too full. I have noticed that I have more energy going through the day if I don't stuff myself. I also noticed my stomach doesn't stick out as much. I also try to drink lots of water. No pop at all, even that terrible diet stuff. I think that stuff just makes you hungry.
So far, so good. My goal is 185 to 190. Thanks for starting this.

As of friday, I was down to 277 and this morning I was 274. It's coming off quick for me so far, but usually once I hit that 25lb loss mark, it stops, so we'll see.
