I am not concerned about dyeing. I am sure I will just drop dead and that will be that. End of story. If I am lucky thats how it will happen.
I am sure we have had friends that have not had it so lucky.
I do feel some sympathy for the people that have to pick up the pieces though.

My wife is not very good with finaces and will probably struggle.
However if she takes care she should be ok.

All I can do is have a positive attitude, look after myself, enjoy myself,do all i can and enjoy every day.

Perhaps the patron saint of CPAP users is Dionysius the Aerophagite.

It depends on how we do our life style.

"Good for the body is the work of the body, and good for the soul is the work of the soul, and good for either is the work of the other. "

It said that the first person who will live to age 150 was (statistically speaking) born recently.

So ... they can get a new machine every 5 years. That's going to drive the insurance companies nuts.
Oh so funny!

I've been busy over in the hearing aid forum and am just now reading this thread which is a good one. I have had cancer; I am diabetic; I now wear hearing aids; and I sleep with a CPAP. None of these things is a misfortune in the light of the Lord's Grace. Actually, I feel I am the most fortunate person around.

Miss Pollyanna, you are coming around quite nicely. We don't have to like the CPAP, just be grateful for it. And I believe that is now your position. If this encourages you at all: it's quite comforting, now, to lie down and fell the air going through my nose and to know that I'll continue to breath all night.

I moonlight as a home health care provider ("I clean souls by day and bodies at night" is my motto) and several of the clients I work with have cpaps. Last week I stayed over several nights in the hospital taking care of my 80+ father and was really tempted to strap my ASV to his face! I'm sure he's had sleep apnea all the years of my life, but no way would he get treatment for it. My brother has also offered to let dad try his cpap.

Well pollyana, you sweet thing, you are not so far away. It is only 5339 km from NYC to Wigan http://www.freemaptools.com/how-far-is-it-between.htm

Now take our friends in Mumbai, they are 12,630 km from NYC.

Now THEY are on the other side of the world.

Anyway, I feel like you are right here in my study and I can hear your Lancashire accent now.

Good to have you here and God Bless,
