Pillar Procedure

Post by DCTom » Sun Jan 15, 2006 5:27 pm

I see quite a few people are asking about the Pillar Procedure. I had the Pillar Procedure about 5 weeks ago. The surgical placement of the pillar devices was non-eventful. It hurt more to get a cavity filled. The pain was not bad afterwards and lasted 2-3 days. All I needed was a Tylonel for the pain. It takes up to 18 weeks for these things to work. So I'm just waiting and hoping. I'll keep you all informed. My ENT said he's getting good reports from his patients (and my ENT does a lot of these). I have moderate OSA. I hated CPAP and will try anyting to get me off of it.

If I had known I would have lived this long, I would have taken better care of myself.
