LOL.... I was the "guest" who got requoted.
I am having trouble with this board keeping my login, even if I have checked the box when I login. Forgot to look.
On the 2factors site, I had registered and was signed, in when I attempted to order. I could see my name on the page as logged in, but it still rolled me to the window again. I use IE so that was not the problem. I did get an email from them, telling me to use IE, they missed the that I had said I was using IE. I will go back in the first of the week to 2factors and see if it is working for me yet.
Fun to see the edits of the guest... could really play with a persons mind that way.
Need help with Smart Card reader purchase.....
The bottom line:goofproof wrote:By being able to do this someone could change the guests post to mean something entirely different than the original intent.
Anyone can do this to anyone in a quote - whether member or guest....
At least misquotes, or edited quotes can always be caught if you look for the original (always a good idea...).
But guests can't even edit their typos, and so there's at least ( ) one ("thing" for "think") in my "guest" post ( though my regular posts are riddled with typos also...). ...And, on rereading, one I just caught and corrected in what I quoted from you.... err, look for the original
Registering is a great idea - but it won't make one's messages more or less tamperproof.
