Thanks John. This is what I was trying to convey and as usual my composition skills are lacking. Factor in my need to be brief with one handed typing and I just can't convey into adequate words what is bouncing around in my head.

No, no. You did a fine job.

I just had to explain this to a lot of "Pointy Haired Bosses" over the years. Yup. I've got a whole catalog of "war stories" where I had to explain a LOT about how to properly do statistical analysis of systems. Perhaps the best was someone who told me their systems were just fine. They were running at 75% capacity on average for the past month ... including nights and weekends and holidays. I had them rerun the figures and EXCLUDE idle times. They suddenly discovered why their users were complaining. They were running at 99% capacity during the normal work day. Doh!

So, I just offered my standard spiel as an addition to your comments to help everyone better understand it.
