I have a respronics st bipap.
The settings are suppose to be epap 18, ipap 10 with rr of 25.
For some reason the epap goes from 9 to 21, ipap from 2 to 14 and rr up to 45. We were told the reason the settings change I have copd hence the st bipap.
When the machine goes haywire it is very difficult to breath.
Should the machine do this?
Thank you
bipap settings
Re: bipap settings
Can't help with auto stuff, but I have the regular PRS1 Bipap Pro (2011 model). I have settings currently at 18/14. As I understand,
one wants to have a difference of 4. I started at 25/21 and self titrated down to 18/14 using Encore Pro 2.4 program.
Any lower and my numbers go up.

Re: bipap settings
The epap has to be lower than the ipap or you can't/won't breath. Is the machine increasing after you fall asleep?katlou wrote:I have a respronics st bipap.

If it has a ramp button press that or just shut it off then back on to get it to start over again. Contact your DME in the morning. Or middle of the nite if you can't sleep.

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?
