Encore Pro 2 - software issue / conflict

Post by shambharwani » Tue Jun 07, 2011 11:35 am

My installation of Encore Pro 2 started hanging / freezing my laptop soon after logging on. Unable to find the cause I reformatted and reinstalled all programs on my machine, Encore Pro 2 was installed and it worked on exactly 2 occasions. I finally installed Microsoft Virtual Machine and installed a new copy of XP on it and now Encore Pro 2 is the only program on it, however it is not able to access the info on the SD card. The SD card shows up as Drive E on my system and even after I map it for access in the Virtual Machine, Encore Pro 2 does not see it.

Does anyone know how to make Encore Pro work in such an environment.

Sorry this is not strictly a CPAP or CPAP software issue, but I know many of you CPAPers are very good at computers and Windows issues.

Thanks.

I wonder if what you saw is the 'default' Encore preference which is set to erase data from the card unless (and until) you change it. Since you made no mention of changing it, I'm betting that is it. That would mean today your data has returned.
