Got Machine on Friday - No Naps Since

Post by loganasu » Tue May 31, 2011 7:37 am

Hello All,

I picked up my first machine on Friday.
I got the feeling that the DME was rushing me through the process of reviewing the machine. (This was fine since I asked questions and got dumbfounded looks from her. What does the mask fit option do? "I don't know")

You should notice that I only said the machine, because they didn't have my mask or my ClimateLine hose.
So they are going to be sending me both of those by UPS.

Since I started using it (while camping no less), I have not taken a nap at all.
Friday was because I didn't have time due to picking up the machine, packing for camping and then driving to the site.
On Saturday, after using machine the night before, I went for a 2 hour bike ride with hills. First time with hills in 20 years. no NAP.
Sunday, we to the lake (drop the family off and parked the car and took the bike over) also when rowing with the wife for an hour. and another bike ride. STILL NO NAP.
Monday, break camp in hot and humid weather, drive home also hot and humid (no a/c), unload car..... Right.... no NAP.

feeling very tired today but this is from everything I was doing over the weekend.

Thanks everyone for the help in giving me a great road map to start this lengthy and long overdue journey

just so there's no confusion, they did give me a SlimLine Tubing at no charge and I was able to use the mask I got from the sleep study.

Glad to hear you're doing so well so quickly. I love a nap, but because I want one, not because I'm falling asleep on my feet or too drowsy to drive. I wish you continued success and thanks for sharing your enthusiasm. It's not many people who would go to the trouble of taking their machine out for its first run during a camping trip.

Great! Thanks for sharing! Now... keep us posted on how you continue to do. I'd be curious to know if all that fresh air had anything to do with it.
