Today's Favorite Thing:
The many smart, kind people who have generously spent the time to help me communicate with my sleep doctor and stick with CPAP therapy. I'm developing much more trust and faith in the human race. Thank you!

I missed yesterday's Favorite Thing and am just getting to today's:
Every once in a while during the day when I'm not on the machine, I feel a slow, stable, steadiness to my heart. It goes beyond simply the absence of palpitations, which I have under prolonged periods of stress. It's more like the presence of steadiness. Feels very good!

Today's Favorite Thing:
Once in a while during the day I'll remember to breathe. I guess I hold my breath a lot. I believe that my increasing awareness of breathing (and the ability to breathe better) at night is spilling over into my waking hours. Lately, I'll be driving or doing laundry or whatever and I'll suddenly become aware that it would feel really good to take a deep breath. And I do. And it does.
