I guess they needed to do the study in his own, custom-built bed.

The video shows him at the sleep center climbing into a bed with a footboard! I wonder how that worked for him?

This is outstanding. There is no denying that Shaq is well past his prime and doesn't command the same media attention that he used to; but for an athelete of his stature to do this video is huge... no pun intended.

Hopefully there will some positive fallout that if Shaq with all his money and access to any doctor and any surgical procedure can hose up, then maybe others will stop putting it off.

If Shaq is willing to do it, why can't you!

John

PS... I doubt he will have any problems with his DME.

That was a great video. Shared it on my FB page, too.... He may do more to promote understanding this disorder than anyone else has without having to die first (i.e. Reggie White). Love that he is SO positive throughout the process and is so amenable to using the mask FOR LIFE. Go Shaq!!
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

I suspect he is at home, not at a sleep center. Shaq is MASSIVE. The bed appears to fit his proportions. If he sat like that on the edge of a normal bed, it would be comical; his knees would be up near his armpits, not on the edge of the bed as in the video.

It would be kind of neat to have a sticky of famous people using the hose!

Or maybe a category just for the stickies? We have 3 too many as it is.

(One sticky could have links to just the "important" threads, and be locked so that it can only be updated by the admins, just like the stickies themselves.)
