Wow, mimi7grands, congratulations! An inspirational story for me (someone who was in denial until, um, a month or two ago).
As for getting VMWare Fusion to work, I've never managed to get it done the same way twice (I work in IT).
I use Parallels... much easier to work with.

Mimi--congratulations on the wt loss. I used nutri-system to start. I was on a salt restricted diet. I lost 20 lbs quickly. I then realized I could do a better job with less sodium on my own without the expensive nutti system meals. I also load up on fruits and vegetables but avoid starchy vegetables like corn. I cut out the carbs and sugar. My only treat is fat free Greek yogurt with fresh fruit. My fats are all mono. I lost the other 20 doing this and am now at a stable wt. I would like to lose 10 more, but I know I need to exercise to do that. I am gradually starting that. I had back surgery in July, so I have to be cautious. I am glad you are taking the conservative approach on CPAP. I wish you the best of luck. The folks on this forum are really nice. You get a grouch every now and then, but I understand he or she has health problems too and then, they even offer gems of advice. May God bless you and good health to you.

Hey Mimi; AWESOME!
I've had to work like a nut to lose my first 28--15 to go.
You have a lot to be proud of. You must feel like a million bucks--and I'm sure you are worth it.
I know I feel a good 20 years younger; but I know my apnea is here to stay.
I only hope that I don't have trouble next year getting Medicare to cover my supplies--I'm taking care of the machinery.
