cleaning machine

Post by bprater » Mon May 09, 2011 5:02 pm

I cleaned my new machine nose piece and hoses weekly as recommended by my RT. I washed it early this a.m. and left it hanging all day to drip dry. It has been 10 hours and I see little tiny water drops all through the hose. Will it damage the machine to hook it up tonight and use it? I go to bed in about 3 more hours and I dont think all the water drops will be gone by then.

It won't damage the machine, as it will be pushing those little tiny water droplets toward you. Your face may get just a little wet, though.

SmartLink module works, but software doesn't, so I'm using SleepyHead. Thanks, JediMark!

bprater,

What you see may actually be air bubbles in the hose that are created during the manufacturing process.

The hose never dries out in time--
We need an invention.

Hook up the hose and let the machine run...lay the hose on the floor.

That might screw up your data if the DME takes the trouble to look at your data card.

Shake the water out, and don't worry about the drops. They'll just give you a little extra humidification when you first start. If you've got a humidifier, you'll get drops in your hose all the time anyway.
