I have actually had a hose break when I was disconnecting it. It was my fault for sure but I wasn't expecting it to come apart so easily. $32 later and I had a new hose. Poop.

Had the S9 AutoSet from Sept 23 to Dec. 21.

In that 3 month period, I had holes develop right at the cuffs at both ends of the SlimLine hose that came with the machine. Duct tape sufficed for "fixing" the problem and I'm still using the hose---swapping it and the PR 15 mm hose that I requested for my PR S1 BiPAP Auto when I was switched to that machine. I swap the hoses once a week so that the "clean, wet" hose has a full week to dry before I start using it.

Replaced S9 with an error code under the warrantee. DME tossed in the new slimline that came with the replacement S9. I bought a climateline hose and then got a backup. I have 4 working hoses. I used the heated hose during the winter, Nov through Feb, and have used the slimeline for several months since last August. No leaks in either hose. I take one as a backup when I travel.

Hey TorontoCPAPguy, are you paying attention to this thread? A couple of us have asked you to clarify the nomenclature and you haven't responded!

Does standard hose mean slimline, climateline, or either? And you haven't corrected the title yet either.
