AutoScan 3.4 software

Can anyone tell me if the Resmed AutoScan 3.4 software works with the Resmed S9 Autoset?

No. The AutoScan software is completely outdated and won't recognize the new S9s. The new software, ResScan, is up to version 3.14 I "think" that even w/ResScan at least 3.7 is needed but its been long enough now that I can't say that for sure. I"m thinking that I was using ResScan 3.3 w/my January 2008 Resmed VPAP Auto but can't swear on that. I think the S9 Clinicians Manual will list the minimum version of ResScan needed for the S9s.

Or did you misspeak yourself and intend ResScan 3.4 rather than AutoScan 3.4? The AutoScan version I had was 5.7

No, I do mean Autoscan 3.4 - I bought it in 2002 for my Resmed Autoset Spirit (S7). At the time, I remember I had an awful job buying it from Resmed as they won't usually sell software to UK patients under any circumstances. During a recent telecon, I asked them if I could purchase the Rescan software; they said they do not and will not sell the software and that I couldn't possibly have bought the AutoScan 3.4 from them - hmm.... and I have their invoice on file! - Funny that you can get it in the States without a problem - p'rhaps they think we Brits are too thick to understand the data (mind you, judging by this forum, you in the US seem so much more knowledgeable about OSA - so maybe .....!!)
Anyhow, I would quite like to upgrade my machine to the S9 but only if I can legally get the software - so I am a bit stumped.
